About Amanda
Amanda was born in 1997 in the south of Brazil, in a small town where days unfolded among nature, improvised colors, and the quiet poetry of simple gestures. Raised in a creative environment, she was deeply shaped by the strength and sensitivity of her mother — an art teacher in the public school system, who, in a humble classroom in the countryside, planted seeds of imagination and beauty in every child who crossed her path. Through her, and the women artists and educators in her family, Amanda learned early on the language of art and the transformative power it holds.
Over the years, after crossing various geographies and inner landscapes, Amanda found in abstract and intuitive painting her most authentic form of expression. Her work emerges from personal memory, emotional layers, and the subtle movements of life itself.
She is currently based in San Francisco, California, where she creates art that invites feeling more than understanding. Her process is fluid, instinctive, and open — a continuous search for truth, beauty, and presence.
This is how she moves through the world — letting art speak where words fall short.
